TinyMCE is a fully-featured HTML editor (aka WYSIWYG) which transforms textareas into editable content blocks and is very popular amongst developers as it provides scope to extend the functionality with plugins. It has excellent documentation for developers and really should be the editor of choice for most serious developers.
